Fix a site

Some sites need a little help. A fix is a set of notes for one site. Open the fix editor with the link Site fixes in the toolbar window.

The editor opens for the site you were on. Nothing is saved until you change a field. Changes are saved a moment after you stop typing, and the open page follows.

What a fix can hold

Elements to invert	Parts such as dark logos that are inverted
Elements whose inline colors are left alone	Parts that keep the colors written in their style attribute
Images to leave alone	Pictures that are never sorted
Style sheets to skip	Parts of style sheet addresses, one per line, with * for any text. Capital and small letters count the same. A sheet whose address holds one of them is not read
Theme this site even when its colors or the built-in list say it is already dark	Ignore the dark list and the colors of the page for this site
Static theme	The parts that get the background, the text and the border colors in the Static engine, and the parts it leaves alone

Selectors and addresses are written one per line. A line that the browser cannot read is shown and not saved. A list may not name the whole page, so body, html, :root and * are refused in lists that color or invert.

Share a fix

Choose Copy fix to copy the text of the fix. To add a fix from someone else, paste its text in the box under Add a copied fix and choose Add fix. A text that is not a valid fix is refused.

Delete a fix

Choose Delete fix. The site goes back to the normal colors. A message appears with Undo. Choose it to bring the fix back. If a fix for the same site exists again by then, nothing is restored.
