Shortcut and right-click menu
Two quick ways to switch RTLY on or off for the site you are on, without opening the popup.
On this page
Keyboard shortcut
Press Alt+Shift+R on a supported site. RTLY flips the setting for that site and reloads its open tabs. The shortcut does nothing on a page that is not one of the supported sites.
The key is a suggestion. Your browser keeps another extension's or its own shortcut if it clashes. You can see and change the key here:
- Chrome:
chrome://extensions/shortcuts - Edge:
edge://extensions/shortcuts - Firefox:
about:addons, then the gear button and Manage Extension Shortcuts
Right-click menu
Right-click anywhere on the page, or right-click the RTLY toolbar icon, and choose the RTLY item (in English: "RTLY: Enable/disable for this site"). It does the same as the shortcut. The item is also translated into the browser languages that RTLY has a translation for.
What happens
- RTLY finds which supported site the tab belongs to.
- If the site was on (or never set), it turns it off. If it was off, it turns it on.
- RTLY reloads every open tab of that site, so the change takes effect everywhere.
Be careful
The reload loses anything you have not sent. If you were writing a message, copy it first.
There is no message on screen to confirm the change. Open the popup, or look at the page, to see the result.
